Montesillo is a southern region that is near the border of Salvador. The coffee here is much sweeter in flavor, featuring tastes like orange and peach with levels of acidity. This area is a high altitude of up to 1,600 meters and is known for producing the most coffee each year. Honduran coffee is delicious and becoming more widely known worldwide. The coffee features several distinct flavors that are greatly influenced by the unique region in which they are grown, the altitudes found there, and the overall climate.

Lower size and grade but good taste.
I poured my first cup of  Kahoa coffee and sat down to experience the morning. This is without a doubt the best time of the day.  My tent is the old style four man  brown canvass type.  Besides a single cot, a wash stand, and my old foot locker, I have a table inside and one outside under the extended front flap.  Both have two chairs.  When the weather is favorable like this morning, there is nowhere I’d rather sit and sip my morning coffee than in front of my tent.  I remember thinking, “Kenyan grown Arabica Coffee from the Slopes of Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro… man, nothing better.” I love to just sit and watch the morning arrive.
